Last week I was at the International Conference of English Historical Linguistics in Sheffield, more on that later. At that self-same conference, my very good friend Nelson Goering revealed that he received his copy of the critical edition of the Ormulum earlier than anyone else.

Just today, the organiser of the conference, my very good friend Graham Williams, contacted me to let me know that even he had received his edition. When I get mine, I'll let you know.
