If you are admitted to a course or program, remember that you have to register by the specified deadline in order to confirm and keep your place. The deadline is specified on the webpage for the course you are admitted to.

Before you can start your studies you need to:

1. Have a university account

In order to register online you need to have an activated university account. Your university account also gives you access to IT services and library resources.

Students with a Swedish personal identity number (a "personnummer") can activate their account online from 5 August.

International students that don't have a Swedish personal identity number can visit the university's Infocenter for assistance (see their website for information on when they reopen). If you cannot visit Infocenter due to current restrictions, you need to contact us at studexp@english.su.se for assistance. See instructions for admitted students.

2. Register

Registration is mandatory to confirm and to keep your place on a course. Once you have activated your university account, you can register online if you are accepted to the course without conditions. If you are conditionally admitted to a course, the conditions have to be fulfilled in order to register and start the course.

Check the specific online registration deadline for the course you are admitted to.
