Course description

This course will introduce you to the theory and practice of imaginative writing through a series of seminars and small-group workshops. Special emphasis is placed on the craft of the short story and "reading like a writer". By the end of the course you will have a clear understanding of the craft of writing, and have developed your editorial and close reading skills.

This course does not fulfill the requirements for admission to higher levels.

Special eligibility criteria: English B / 6 or equivalent + 60 university credits (HEC) in an academic subject.

  • You have to register on time to keep your place. Online registration will be open between 7 - 14 January. Follow the instructions for registration (exchange students - see separate information on registration)
