There are many affordable hotels along the T-bana “Red Line” (which stops at university) and they are well worth checking out. Also, you might want to look at the Scandic hotels in Stockholm, for instance the hotels at Täby, Järva Krog, Bromma, Alvik, Älvsjö are all situated at commuter-friendly locations although they may appear to be at quite some distance from the city centre or the University Capmus, so please use the journey planner on SL to check out the best way to get from the hotel to the University Campus.
