Specific information on how you register for the courses is made available on our website ahead of each term, at the end of December and June respectively. Registration usually takes place the week before term starts but be sure to find out the exact dates for registration by reading the relevant information.

Instructions for registration on our courses are available under the tab 'Education’ > ‘Courses' or 'Programmes'. Look for the courses that you have been admitted to and read the instructions carefully. An email is also sent out to all admitted students, directing you to the relevant information.

Web registration

For many of our courses, you register online. To do so you need to have an activated university web account. When it is activated you will receive a user name and a password giving you access to the 'Mitt universitet' and 'My Studies' web portals, where you will register.

If you have applied for your course via www.antagning.se, you can activate your university web account online. You can find further information about your university web account on www.it.su.se/studentsupport and if you need assistance, you can contact the IT Help desk at Stockholm University:
E-mail: helpdesk@it.su.se
Phone: 08-16 19 99

This is how you register online:

  • Enter www.mitt.su.se and click 'My Studies'.
  • Log in using the user name and password of your university web account.
  • Click ‘Course registration’ and follow further instructions.

If you have been conditionally accepted to a course, you have to register in person at the Department.

Registration at the Department
For some courses you have to come to the Department for registration. If so, instructions are provided for the courses in question (under the tab 'Education> Courses').
