This course offers you an opportunity to study some of the books you have often heard about, but never got down to reading. The aim is the critical understanding of the works from a historical perspective, and the introduction of current concepts of literary study. You will study about 4000 pages from the late Middle Ages up until World War II. Examination will be in the form of continuous evaluation and written production.

This course does not fulfill the requirements for admission to higher levels.

Eligibility criteria: English B /6 or equivalent + 60 university credits (HEC) in an academic subject.
