 Aims:

This workshop will give participants an opportunity to increase the impact of their research writing in English with a particular focus on the rhetorical features and organization of the research article. It has been designed to suit the needs of teachers and researchers at Stockholm University and covers a wide range of specializations.

Programme:

The content and activities of this workshop will be based on the material provided by the participants and will include the following components:
• Rhetorical features of the research article in the participant’s field
• Using language to position the researcher in the field
• Resources for academic writing in English
• Revision and editing for communicative impact
